Paul LeFort has over 30 years of management consulting experience as a Senior Partner at Deloitte Consulting, providing strategy, operations and technology solutions to over 250 clients with a focus on the hospitality and healthcare industries. He served over 140 healthcare organizations including hospitals, health insurance plans and large physician groups.

He also served as the CIO of United Health Group, managing over 3,000 IT staff during a period of rapid growth and acquisitions. He has significant merger and acquisitions experience with several private capital groups, served as a large-scale Customer Advisor to IBM, and was a Trizetto Board member during its rapid expansion, IPO and eventual private sale for $ 1.4 billion.

Paul has served on the boards of FINCA International (one of the 10 largest global micro lenders to 2 million small entrepreneurs in 22 countries) as well as the People’s Resource Center, which provides food, clothing and social services to 30,000 DuPage County residents.

He is a founding investor in Chicago’s Impact Engine I, II, III and IV as well as several social impact ventures. Paul also served as a judge in the 2015 and 2016 Northwestern University Venture Challenge for Social Entrepreneurs.

Paul is a General Partner with his wife Eileen (a former officer in the US Navy Nurse Corp and longtime advocate for social justice, the environment, food co-ops, healthy food and alternative medicine programs) for LeFort Investors L. P., a private investment fund focused on equities, real estate, healthcare/bio-medical ventures, and support of social entrepreneurs.
